This free service is for AT&T U-verse High Speed Internet and AT&T High Speed Internet customers who have purchased a service with a maximum speed of 3.0 or higher OR a maximum downstream speed of 1.5 Mbps or lower (AT&T High Speed Internet customers). The McAfee anti-virus protection can be used for both the PC or the Mac.
Other Facts and Information
- Any existing security software must be removed before installing AT&T Security Suite powered by McAfee
- PC users should follow the pre-installation cleanup steps before installing the service

Generally speaking MAC users will not experience traditional viruses that have plagued PC users, however, more and more MAC customers are experiencing phishing scams, malware, viruses and more.
