The Apply For It site is operated by Discover Bank (Member FDIC ) and offers a live chat option for those who have questions during the application process.  Please note the invitation number will be 23 digits long and can be found on the offer received.  To check the status of a Discover Card Application the customer will need their SSN and zip code.
